Adrien Lawyer
Adrien Lawyer is the co-director and co-founder of the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico (TGRCNM). The TGRCNM is the only organization that provides a wide array of services solely for the transgender community of the state of New Mexico, including food, clothing, monthly bus passes, rapid HIV testing, counseling and much more. Mr. Lawyer has presented Transgender 101 more than 1000 times all over the state of New Mexico and has been instrumental in doing advocacy at the individual and policy levels. For instance, TGRCNM played a crucial role in writing and implementing transgender student policy for Albuquerque Public Schools. He is a transgender man and a father and is working for equality and accessible resources for the entire transgender community.
