Ray Worsham

Working with children and families in varied settings since 1976, Ray Worsham has spent the bulk of his career in one of the nation’s largest state child welfare agencies. From initial investigation through adoption services, Mr. Worsham has spent many years in the field in multiple service areas before moving into agency management and administration. He oversaw policy development during the beginning of the expansion of federal support for programs in the 1990’s through the end of last century. The last ten years he has served the Children’s Bureau in Region 6 as a Child and Family Program Specialist with liaison responsibilities to New Mexico and several years with Louisiana. As a regional specialist he is the office lead for programs funded under Title IV-B of the Social Security Act and the State Court Improvement Program. Father of three and Grandfather to one (so far), Mr. Worsham holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University and he completed graduate work in Public Administration at Texas A&M University.
